The Paluma Environmental Education Centre is the ideal place to get away from much of the technology that overwhelms many of us in everyday life - With no mobile reception at the centre, the only way you'll be interrupted by phone calls, emails or text messages is if you walk to one of the lookouts!
We do, however, encourage students to engage with a range of technology throughout their studies at the centre.
We provide a range of resources for use by visiting school groups including Spark data loggers and probes, digital cameras, iPads, iPods, digital microscopes, water quality test kits, weather meters and Flip Video recorders, amongst other items. Some of these resources are also available for hire by contacting our Vincent office.
Our dining hall/ classrooms are equipped with interactive white boards, data projectors, DVD players, computer workstations and a television (remote satellite service).
