Programs and learning experiences are also closely aligned with our pedagogical models:
- the social science "nesting model" of Self-Others-Place, where a student's knowledge base expands to include a responsibility for action
- The Australian Curriculum cross-curricular priority of Sustainability - World Views-Systems-Futures and the relevant Organising Ideas
- the traditional philosophical base of environmental education for sustainability (EEfS) of Heart-Head-Hand. This allows students to hone their sensory appreciations of the natural environment

Our excursion programs are consciously designed to align with our pedagogical philosophies, while also strongly supporting time-poor teachers in the delivery of the Australian Curriculum. For State School teachers, this may be through alignment of the excursion program to the relevant C2C unit.
