Paluma hosts International student of environmental education

Austrian university student Philipp participates in an online Science lesson
Paluma Environmental Education Centre hosts its third Austrian student of environmental education in July.  Philipp comes from Salzburg, but is studying in Vienna. where the temperature was 40 degrees in the week he left for Australia.  Needless to say, Philipp is finding Paluma's 6 degree mornings a challenge.  He was very happy to visit our Vincent administration office (where the temperature was much warmer) to join an online Science lesson.  During his internship (organised through Education Queensland International), Philipp will be working with our teachers on all phases of the excursion program - pre-visits, excursion program planning, delivery and evaluation.  We will also ensure that Philipp gets an opportunity to explore our beautiful part of North Queensland while he is here.
